Ashadeep is a Study center for the Foundation Course on Education of Children with Disabilities (FC-SEDE) being conducted by the Rehabilitation Council of India and MP(Bhoj) Open University in distance mode.

With the rapid up-scaling of Ashadeep’s activity as a service provider, it had become crucial for upgrading and refining monitoring, documentation and other systems required for intervening with persons with mental illnesses. Further the experience of working on Mental Health Issues for the past fourteen years made Ashadeep realize that, there is a distinct need for a Resource centre, with the objective of developing modules and other resources for training different stake-holders of Ashadeep’s sphere of activity. The Resource Centre started functioning from the financial year 2009-10. Theprime activities of the Resource Centre being Sensitization; Orientation & Training; Research & Documentation and Advocacy on issues of mental health.

All practical classes and examinations in connection with the Diploma courses on Mental Retardation of the RC I conducted by CRC, Guwahati are held at our Guwahati Day Care center, which has been declared as a model center.
